Course Overview

Our one-day aerial surveying course teaches delegates the skills and techniques of how to use UAV systems to survey a range of structures and land formations. We will assist you in building your confidence of aerial surveying.

Throughout the day we will cover both the theoretical and practical elements of aerial surveying. We will guide you through every stage from planning to flying and finally processing the data collected. This includes practical flying techniques and assisting you with the techniques to maintain a steady and effective flight.

You will then use WebODM Manager to analyse your surveys and gain a valuable insight that can be extracted from your data. Aerial UAV surveying is a growing industry that provides an efficient, cost effective and safer way to collect accurate surveying data. You will gain plenty of hands on practical flying experience by using one of our DJI Mavic Air Pro 4K UAV's. This will give you further confidence in aerial surveying. Our experienced aerial surveyors will teach you how to get the best results from your day. You will test your skills on our specifically designed forestry, material stockpile and industrial site, giving you the opportunity to handle a range of aerial surveying scenarios.

Here you will learn techniques for accurately determining stockpile volumes, asset mapping and rehabilitation monitoring during the process of this course.
